About this role

As part of the Portfolio Healthcare, Privacy and Ethics, our Intern/Legal Professional will have the opportunity and responsibility to support the members of this team and contribute to its portfolio and stakeholders as well as to the mission of Lygature.

Together with your colleagues you will fulfill different tasks, for consortium partners and clients such as:

• conducting research in the field of healthcare services, research projects, healthcare products, privacy, ethics, and national and international regulations in these fields
• the drafting of reports
• advisory services to external and internal teams
• develop DPIA`s, contracts, and related documents
• support the legal documentation and archiving.

The organization and tasks of the Portfolio Health law, Privacy and Ethics facilitates a training on the job. You will report to the Healthcare, Privacy and Portfolio Lead and eventually the senior members of this portfolio with whom you shall work on work packages and the support of internal and external projects and advises. Your working hours can be flexible.

Skills and experience

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.), or Bachelor’s in Law (LL. B.) and important proceeding in a Master (legal, preferably Health law and/or Privacy)
• Relevant research experience in the field of Healthcare and/or Privacy is a strong asset
• Demonstratable knowledge of Privacy, Healthcare and Healthcare regulations
• Clear affinity and/or demonstrated interest with Life Sciences and Health sector
• Fluency in Dutch and English language is required (spoken and written)
• Organized and able to meet deadlines
• Proactive and with can-do mentality
• Curious, eager to learn and creative thinker
