Vacancy: Program Operations Officer

About this role

The Program Operations Management team has a key role in the operations of large research initiatives and projects which we facilitate as neutral enabler. The Program Operations Officer contributes to one or more large projects or initiatives which include data infrastructure, strategic asset sharing for new therapy development, regulatory innovation and global health. Together with professionals in program management, communication, finance and legal, you contribute to the success of the initiatives in which Lygature acts as partnership management partner by executing various operational roles. These high-profile partnerships and initiatives are active at the forefront of innovation to develop life science solutions for patients worldwide.

Job description

In this operational position, together with colleagues, the Program Operations Officer will:

• provide research and management support in projects or initiatives
• assist in planning of meetings and interactions between the various actors in a project
• provide support in monitoring the progress of the projects according to timelines and come up with ideas to increase efficiency
• assist in financial operations, quality management and communication activities of projects
• guarantee a high-level quality for all activities and output by interacting with program managers, communication, finance and business development colleagues

Skills and experience

• Excellent organizational and planning skills and a wish to excel in operational quality
• Able to meet deadlines
• Practical and pragmatic, service-oriented, with a hands-on mentality
• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
• Fluency in both Dutch and English
• A strong work ethic including the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A bachelor and at least one-year professional experience in a relevant organization
• Affinity with life sciences, health care and/or data infrastructure is preferred.
