Illuminate Kick-off meeting

Registration closes on October 21^st, 24:00 CET. For this meeting, no registration costs apply, but costs can be charged in case of no-shows or late cancellations.

Location

Important information and instructions for visiting the NRG Energy and Health Campus and the nuclear facilities will follow.  

Conditions of access to the radiological areas:

• Pregnant and breastfeeding women are not allowed access to NRG's monitored and controlled areas. 
• No photos or videos are allowed.
• Bags and the like are not allowed inside. There is limited possibility for safekeeping, so leave personal belongings in the car as much as possible.
• In some places, equipment is present that causes a strong electromagnetic field, which can pose a risk to pacemakers.
• It is important to indicate whether you have (recently) undergone medical treatment with radioactive substances.
• An input measurement using the gantry monitor is carried out prior to entering a radiology area. In the event of an alarm during the input measurement, access will not be granted because no measurement can be carried out afterwards.
• The visitor must wear covering clothing. That is to say: No short skirts/pants with bare legs or pants with holes. This is to prevent skin infections.
• For safety reasons, the visitor must wear closed shoes; Stiletto heels are not allowed due to the risk of damaging the gantry monitors.

Very Important: We kindly remind you to bring your passport or identity card, as access to the premises is not possible without this formal identification. Please note that a driver’s license does not qualify as formal identification.

Transport

For easier access, a bus transfer is organized, from Alkmaar to Petten, on each day of the meeting.
