Lygature at Innovation for Health
On 18 February, the premier healthcare event Innovation for Health 2016 took place in Rotterdam Beurs-WTC, the Netherlands.
Lygature hosted a lunch session at which Ton Rijnders (Scientific Director for Lygature) explained why innovation in health depends increasingly on cooperative ventures between public organizations, authorities and private enterprises. He said that pioneering medicine is now best realized by working together, and that a key ingredient of successful public-private partnerships is an independent third party who is able to build trust, provide governance and transcend barriers. Examples of successful PPPs from Lygature’s existing project portfolio illustrated the point.
