Lygature supports Dutch bid for EMA
Lygature, the not-for-profit research management organization, fully supports the Dutch bid for the European Medicines Agency (EMA). The Netherlands with its very strong life sciences & health sector would be a natural fit for the European Union agency responsible for the protection of public and animal health through the scientific evaluation and supervision of medicines.
The mission of Lygature is to accelerate the development of new medical solutions for patients by driving public-private collaborations between academia, industry and society. Research management of large multi-stakeholder consortia, including the scientific coordination of the European Lead Factory, is the expertise of Lygature. Also in the field of regulatory innovation Lygature has contributed significantly, enabling scientific dialogue between all stakeholders. The presence of the European Medicines Agency in the Netherlands would facilitate these interactions, necessary to bring novel medical solutions faster into the clinic.
We are happy to collaborate with the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport to present the Dutch bid for the European Medicines Agency.
