Lygature supports the launch of ACCESS through strategic partnership development
The national ACCESS consortium has officially launched with nearly €1 million in funding from Health Holland and TKI Dinalog to improve emergency care in the Netherlands. Lygature supported the consortium's development by providing strategic advice on partnership formation and the process towards securing funding, demonstrating our expertise in building successful public-private collaborations.
Improving emergency care through collaboration
Led by the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) and the University of Groningen (RUG), ACCESS brings together ambulance services, hospitals, universities, research institutes and industry partners to develop an integrated digital triage platform. By combining clinical data with information on travel times, hospital capacity and treatment options, the platform will help ambulance professionals direct patients to the most appropriate hospital more quickly.

Lygature supported the consortium during its development by helping partners establish a shared strategic direction and build the collaboration needed to secure funding. This included connecting the consortium to relevant societal partners, including health foundations, to broaden its stakeholder base and strengthen its societal relevance. Looking ahead
Over the next three years, ACCESS will develop an integrated triage platform for neurological, trauma and cardiovascular emergencies, smart ambulance routing, and better integration of ambulance and hospital data. Together, these innovations aim to ensure that patients receive the right care, at the right place, at the right time.
