Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium Webinar: Completion of the pivotal Phase III trial of arpraziquantel
On Wednesday 8 December, the Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium, which Lygature proudly coordinates, will host a free webinar to celebrate the completion of its pivotal Phase III trial of arpraziquantel – a potential new treatment option for the estimated 50 million preschool-aged children suffering from schistosomiasis.
The event will be moderated by Professor Bert Leufkens, Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium Board member and Scientific Lead at Lygature. It will feature an expert line-up of speakers and provide an overview of the work of the Consortium since its inception in 2012.
Presentations will focus on the development of the new pediatric treatment option, its potential added value, and the regulatory pathway that lies ahead. Insights from the Consortium’s clinical trial Principal Investigator in Côte d’Ivoire, Professor Eliézer Kouakou N’Goran, will also form a key part of the webinar.
The event will take place via Zoom with simultaneous English to French interpretation.
