Building on the success of the previous editions (2022, 2023), this year’s Lygature LIVE will highlight impactful partnerships and explore methods for determining and measuring their impact on society and global well-being. Inspiring examples will be used to showcase various approaches to assessing impact.

Confirmed speakers

• Thera Max-Mos (CCMO)
  Thera Max-Mos is Head of the CCMO National Clinical Trial Office and will speak on the role of CCMO in the regulatory field, and address the added value of the Regulatory Science Network Netherlands (RSNN) to meet and engage with regulatory stakeholders.
   
• Heleen Knottnerus (Diabetes Association Netherlands and EUPATI fellow) and Laurence Maes (Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine)
  Heleen Knottnerus, Policy Officer Advocacy at Diabetes Association Netherlands & EUPATI fellow,  and Laurence Maes (Lead Patient Value at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine) will present together at Lygature LIVE on the topic of boosting the impact of patient involvement in drug discovery.
   
• Chris De Jonghe (Oncode Institute)
  Chris De Jonghe is Valorization Director at Oncode Institute and will share her insights on the impact of Oncode Institute and highlight the advantages of its connection with Lygature. This connection includes our collaboration during the start-up phase of Oncode Institute, our joint housing space at the Jaarbeurs Innovation Mile (JIM)/HI-FIVE, and the European success of the PERSIST-SEQ project.
   
• Hugh Laverty (IHI)
  Hugh Laverty, Head of Scientific Operations at Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) will present his views on the topic as a speaker during the event.IHI, a partnership for health research and innovation between the EU and Europe’s life science industries, is set up to have impact on the research and innovation ecosystem; on patients and health systems; and on Europe’s competitiveness. Projects funded under the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI, the predecessor to IHI) have already demonstrated the impact of the public-private partnership approach to research.
  
  Lygature is or has been involved in 22 IMI/IHI projects over the past years and is actively involved in building partnership for future calls. We are eagerly looking forward to hear Dr Laverty’s thoughts on measuring the impact and value of the project portfolios of the IMI and IHI initiatives at an aggregated level.

Impact Report

To underscore Lygature’s commitment to impact, we will also present our first-ever impact report during Lygature LIVE, developed using an outside-in approach.
