Successful Participant Recruitment for UNITE4TB Trial
UNITE4TB, one of Lygature’s flagship projects, has successfully completed participant recruitment for its DECISION trial, marking an important milestone for the project and the fight against drug-sensitive tuberculosis (TB).
DECISION, a Phase 2B study sponsored by consortium partner LMU University Hospital Munich, is one of two trials within UNITE4TB, alongside PARADIGM4TB, sponsored by MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL. It is aimed at evaluating the safety and efficacy of the novel antibiotic BTZ-043.
Lygature, essential in setting up UNITE4TB, oversees overall partnership management, co-leads privacy and ethics efforts, and manages all external communications within the project.
UNITE4TB, a consortium of 30 partners from 13 countries, is the largest public-private partnership on clinical TB drug development in the history of the European Union. The collaboration underscores our dedication to tackling major health challenges globally.
