The Value of Public-Private Partnerships Highlighted in Leaders in Life Sciences Podcast

News News

In a recent episode of the Leaders in Life Sciences podcast, Jayasree Iyer, CEO of the Access to Medicine Foundation, reflects on her career journey and shares her perspective on building partnerships that deliver real-world impact.

During the conversation, Jayasree recalls her time at Top Institute Pharma (one of Lygature’s legacy organizations), speaking of the essential role of public-private partnerships in driving new innovations in the life sciences and healthcare sector.

The implementation of new innovations cannot happen without partnerships,” she said. “This is why I joined Top Institute Pharma, now Lygature. It drove me to understand that if you're part of developing these partnerships, you can really make a big change in the results they achieve.”

Specific mention is given to the Lygature-coordinated Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium, which Jayasree says is a prime example of collaboration leading to global health progress.

This is a powerful endorsement from an influential leader of Lygatrure’s approach to integrated partnerships and our role in enabling science to cross boundaries, from research to real-world health impact.

The conversation also reflects the shared mission of organizations like the Access to Medicine Foundation to improve global health through collaboration and Access.
