We are happy to welcome Lisa, Lucien, Julia G., Julia L. and Natasja who joined Lygature in the fall of 2021! You can meet them below and find out more about their background, expertise and responsibilities within our team in Lygature.

Lisa Scheefhals holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, followed by a Minor in Science and Business Management. Lygature perfectly matches her ambition to connect and bundle the strengths of public and private partners to truly make a difference in the (bio)medical field.

Throughout her professional career, Lisa gained experience in both research and business, from an academic, consultancy, and funder perspective. The time at life sciences and business consultancy company ttopstart further sparked her interest in supporting large multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary partnerships. At health research funding organization ZonMw she could further build upon this passion, while working on the international Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance engaging 28 nations and the European Commission to curb antimicrobial resistance, and projects related to Open Science.

Lisa joined Lygature as Program Manager and will be working on the partnerships Health Innovation Netherlands (HI-NL) and Health-RI.

Lucien de Brabander holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Business economics. And a master’s degree in Sociology (Labor, Organization and Management), during his studies he finished additional mathematics courses.

His professional background clearly shows his passion for Finance work. Throughout his career, Lucien worked on 4 different Finance positions for Unilever and BP. At a later stage he did gain experience somewhat out of the Finance realm as well, as Project Manager; he worked as a Digital Marketing Project Manager, Digital Execution Manager a.i. and eventually B2B2C Product Manager a.i. for BP for the last 3 years. Despite the fact he enjoyed this last part of the journey, he decided to specialize in Finance / Controlling in the foreseeable future.

By combining all his experience, he is always aiming for sharing his Finance, organizational process and project management insights with others. Driven by a set of characteristics which can be qualified easy going, multidisciplinary, curious and lean. Within Lygature he will focus on the Data Infrastructure portfolio.

Julia Gencheva joined as a Program Operations Manager at Lygature, where she is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising the structure and processes of our projects.
