Denis Groot

As treasurer in the Board of Trustees I support EUPATI (European Patients’ Academy on Therapeutic Innovations) to drive positive change in global health innovation by empowering efficient patient-researcher partnerships. EUPATI provides education and resources that enable patients and researchers to collaborate, co-create, and innovate, inspiring collective global change across the health innovation system.

Jon de Vlieger

The Critical Path Institute’s (C-Path) Translational Therapeutics Accelerator (TRxA) is a global drug discovery and development program focused on supporting academic scientists in defining optimal strategies for advancing new, cutting-edge therapeutics from the lab to patients. TRxA leverages C-Path’s proficiency in translational and regulatory science to bridge the drug development “valley of death” by providing academic researchers with funding and guidance for the advancement of novel therapeutics from the lab to clinical trials and, ultimately, commercialization and patient care.

FIGON is the integrative platform for innovative drug research in the Netherlands. The platform promotes interactions among all parties in the drug research in the broad sense, such as scientific and professional associations, universities, business and government. The platform reinforces existing initiatives in this area, identifies and explores new developments in the field and has an active policy in the context of the mission. FIGON organizes the annual Dutch Medicines Days where the network convenes for 2-3 days

As an Innovation Agent at ChemistryNL, I help SMEs and startups tackle innovation challenges and build connections between industry and research. My focus is on AI in molecular sciences, early-stage drug discovery, and diagnostics, driven by a passion for science, education, and real-world impact.

Remco de Vrueh

I am Public-Private Partnership Expert on the Multistakeholder Advisory Board (MAB) of the European Rare Disease Research Alliance (ERDERA), the largest and most ambitious Rare Disease Research partnership in Europe. This Public-Private Partnership with 170+ organisations across 37 countries, has the mission to make Europe a world leader in Rare Disease Innovation.

Tale Sliedrecht

Schuttelaar & Partners specializes in communication and strategy for health, sustainability, and innovation. My role is to advice the organization on their progress and dilemma’s.

Tieneke Schaaij-Visser

DNTP facilitates the process of searching for, obtaining, and distributing tissue material from the archives of all pathology organizations for the purpose of scientific research. Stichting DNTP originated from a project by the Dutch Society for Pathology, PALGA, and the heads of the pathology departments of the UMCs. After the project was completed, the department heads decided to continue and finance DNTP. The Supervisory Board monitors and advises on the directives of the foundation

The Alliance Roundtable is a network of executives who deal with alliances and partnerships. The purpose of the Alliance Roundtable is to facilitate learning, sharing and networking among senior alliance leaders.
