“Welcome!” to our new colleagues - Tessa Sandberg and Irina Stoica

Tessa Sandberg joined Lygature as a Program Manager and she will be working on the programs RADAR-CNS, ReSToRe and PERSIST-SEQ.

Tessa holds a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and a PhD in oncology, both from the university of Leiden, the Netherlands. Her PhD was about the role of the microenvironment, in particular fibroblasts, in colorectal cancer. In addition, she acquired experience in the pharmaceutical industry while working as a strategy consultant at Diaceutics, a company focused on Personalized Medicine and as a project manager at myTomorrows, a platform for Compassionate Use/ Early Access.

Irina Stoica holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, followed by a postgrad in Fundraising. Her professional background combines her passions for Project Management and Event Management.

Throughout her professional career, Irina worked in the private sector, for large corporations like Shell and Aramco Overseas, as well as in the public sector, acting as Program Manager for the Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Programme, a financial instrument that, in the framework of the European Territorial Co-operation Objective provided an integrated development strategy for enhancing the joint social and economic development of the border area between the two countries, responding to the key challenges and opportunities identified.

Irina joined Lygature as Program Management Officer in May and will be working within the Operations team, providing support for the ESCulab and UNITE4TB projects.
