UNITE4TB, one of Lygature’s flagship projects, has successfully completed participant recruitment for its DECISION trial, marking an important milestone for the project and the fight against drug-sensitive tuberculosis (TB).

Lygature's GNA NOW Consortium, in collaboration with CARB-X, is gearing up to host an Expert Meeting focused on developing a Target Product Profile (TPP) for antibiotics to treat severe enteric infections in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). 

The Lygature-coordinated MOMENTUM project, a cross-Atlantic collaboration aimed at advancing MR-guided radiation therapy for common types of cancer, has achieved significant new milestones. Since its launch in 2019, MOMENTUM has grown from 10 to 21 partners and has now registered over 5,000 patients.

The Dutch National Growth Fund is investing 124.5 million euros in a new centre for animal-free biomedical testing. Of this investment, 55 million euros are awarded directly and 69.5 million euros are granted subject to conditions. Known as the Centre for Animal-Free Biomedical Translation, its aim is to generate safer, more effective treatments, while reducing animal suffering.
